...then you should have already received your digital rewards! Wo0t! BK is down for maintenance right now, but I'll check in on any of the more recent surveys that have been completed, and ship out your digital rewards in earnest.

How About That AMAZING Fish Lee Cover!?!?!?!

In the digital rewards package you received a special wallpaper Stretch Goal that featured the amazing cover art from Fish Lee for Spider-Squirrel #3! That cover will be available in the next campaign as a holofoil wraparound variation. It deserves the very best in crazy-awesome cover gimmicks! Haha!

Books have been ordered, plushies have been ordered, mini-figs have been ordered, and I’m finalizing prints & trading card orders tonight! I’m hoping to have everything on-hand by Christmas and I’ll start shipping during the holiday break.

Survey Updates! Books On Order! And Other Stuff You Care About!

"We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties..."

I mentioned in the previous Update that BackerKit was having import issues with my campaign. Two things I've learned since then: 1) I'm not the only one, and 2) there are still some kinks being worked out.

If you were one of the Backers who got a Survey already during our "smoke test" some of the imported Add-ons came in with incorrect shipping profiles. You may have been asked to pay more shipping fees on top of what Kickstarter already collected **this is an error**.

We've already fixed part of the problem (thank you, Laurie!!!!), but a smaller one remains. Rest assured, if you already paid for your shipping for the items you Backed in Kickstarter, you will not be charged that extra fee. If you add more items from BackerKit's Add-on program or pre-order store, that's different. So, I'm working with my team to make sure our Backers are **not** punished with extra fees from this BackerKit error.

Until I am 100% confident this is resolved, I'm withholding the remaining Surveys. I don't want you frustrated with extra fees. I apologize for making you wait another 12-24hrs, but I'd rather do that than post bogus charges on you. Thanks for understanding, fam.

Books On Order!

I have enough data from the KS Backer Report to make a safe order for books. I tend to over-order anyway, like last time, to accommodate late add-ons, convention appearances, etc., so no worries. I'll have plenty of books if you decide to add more to your BackerKit order when your survey comes in. I'm awaiting a final invoice from the Trash Panda plushie manufacturer, but those will be ordered by week's end, too. All other physical rewards are either on-order, or being ordered tonight. 

Digital Rewards Coming!

Once the Surveys are sent and returned, I'll begin sending out digital rewards via Backerkit. I'm still awaiting letters on the two Stretch Goals (the 5-page preview of Bluechip & The NEW Teen Force 5 and the 5-page preview of The Fundamentals), but otherwise all of the digital rewards are set, ready, uploaded, and just need to be sent out!

Speaking of Fundamentals

I cannot tell a lie: I'm SUPER-STOKED for this book!! It's looking incredible, with Craig's clean lines, Ross's gorgeous colors, and with Ringo Award Nominated Micah Myers on letters this is turning out fantastic! It won't likely hit until late-2022 after Milestone, the original Teen Force 5 one-shot, Alpha-Elite's one-shot, and possibly another Spider-Squirrel & Trash Panda 3-issue mini-series, but it's coming. If you love The Fantastic Four, cosmic stuff, family stuff, sci-fi, or just good, fun comics you'll want to be ready for this one!

OK, I'm done! Surveys COMING SOON!!! Give me a minute to fix them with my guru Laurie, and I'll get them out ASAP!

BackerKit had some technical issues importing my campaign for some unknown reason, so we have been going back & forth in emails trying to get it fixed. So, while the goal was to get surveys out before Thanksgiving (USA) that obviously didn’t happen.

Still, looks like the glitches got stitches and we’re outta the ditches so I’ll be running a “smoke tests as early as Monday with the goal of getting surveys out by Wednesday.

Sorry about that!

For those outside the USA, or who don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you prosperity, peace, and gratitude for all we each have.
